the weed called buses

today, I have made 4 bus journeys. that doesn't seem too bad considering it takes 2 bus journeys each way for me to get to school but today it was to town then from town, then back in to town then back from town. then what's worse is that there was only an hour's intermission between arriving home the first time then going back in to town, which makes my mum and myself seem like such materialists!

anyway, the buses. I live in Birmingham which is home to the 11 route and the 50. the 11 is the outer circle and the largest bus route in Europe. the 50 is also the most frequent bus route in the country and apparently Birmingham buses are the cleanest buses in the country. yet, as a frequent user of TWM (Travel West Midlands) I can confirm that all the regular users of the buses can do is complain!

the problem with public transport, to be honest, is that the public use it! I once stuck my thumb in some chewing gum that was stuck to a seat >.<
